Privacy Policy
Effective November 5, 2026 · Last updated November 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Unionwear ("Unionwear," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information about visitors to unionwear.com (the "Site").
Unionwear manufactures union-made, American-made headwear, bags, portfolios, and binders. Our Site is used primarily to present our products and to receive quote requests and business enquiries. To view pricing, visitors register for a free pricing account. The Site does not process online payments. Orders are arranged directly with our sales team.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
When you register for a pricing account, submit a quote request, contact form, or other enquiry, or contact us by email or telephone, we collect the information you choose to give us. This typically includes:
- Your name and job title
- Your organization or company name
- Your email address and telephone number
- Shipping or billing address, where relevant to a quote or order
- Details of your enquiry — product type, quantities, artwork, decoration requirements, timelines, and any other information you include
- For a pricing account: your first and last name, email address, company, telephone number, and what you are looking to buy
A pricing account is used only to show you pricing and to let our sales team follow up on your interest. There is no password-protected customer area, and no payment details are stored.
We do not ask you to provide sensitive personal information through the Site, and we ask that you not send it to us. We do not collect Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, financial account numbers, or health information through the Site.

- Browser type, operating system, device type, and screen characteristics

- The referring website or search terms that brought you to the Site

- Maintain the security and integrity of the Site and prevent fraud and abuse

5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money.
A note on advertising. The Meta Pixel and Google Ads conversion tracking on our Site disclose information about your visit to those advertising platforms. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, this kind of disclosure may be treated as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though no money changes hands. You can opt out at any time using the method in Section 6.
We disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services for us — including our CRM, email, hosting, analytics, advertising, and shipping providers — who are permitted to use it only to provide those services to us.
- Advertising and analytics partners. As described above and in Section 3.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers. If Unionwear is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the following rights:
- Right to know. You may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed it.
- Right to delete. You may request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct. You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. You may direct us not to share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide you a different level of quality because you exercised any of these rights.
Categories of personal information collected
In the twelve months preceding the effective date of this policy, we have collected the following categories of personal information as defined by the CCPA: identifiers (such as name, email address, telephone number, postal address, and IP address); commercial information (records of products enquired about or purchased); internet or other electronic network activity information (browsing and interaction data described in Section 1); geolocation data (approximate location derived from IP address); and professional or employment-related information (your employer and job title, where you provide them).
We collect these from you directly, and automatically through the technologies described in Sections 2 and 3. We do not collect or process sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.
How to exercise your rights
To make a request, email us at [email protected], call us toll-free at 877-932-7864, or write to us at P.O. Box 7009, Newark, NJ 07107. Please tell us which right you wish to exercise and provide enough information for us to verify your identity — we will generally verify by matching the information you give us against records we already hold. We will respond within the time required by law.
An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf if they provide written permission signed by you, and we may still ask you to verify your identity directly.
Opting out of sharing for advertising
To opt out of the sharing described in Section 5, email [email protected] with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." You may also:
- Use your browser's Global Privacy Control signal. When your browser sends it, the Site does not load the Meta Pixel or Google Ads conversion tracking for that browser
- Adjust your advertising preferences directly with Google and Meta
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
7. Retention
We keep pricing account, enquiry, and customer records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which we delete or de-identify them. Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of the analytics services we use, which are generally between fourteen and twenty-six months.
8. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Site is intended for business customers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Links to Other Sites
The Site contains links to other websites, including our social media profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and this policy does not apply to them.
